The Client Finance Executive supports the financial management of client accounts within FutureBrand. This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of client financial data, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing, and providing financial insights to support client projects. The Client Finance Executive will work closely with the Finance Business Partner, Client Finance Manager, account managers, and project teams to ensure effective financial management and optimal profitability of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up of new clients in the accounting system (SAP)
- Responsible for job setup in SAP, managing the job life cycle, and closing jobs in a timely manner
- Responsible for weekly review of the WIP, job details reports and providing commentary
- Issue and distribute Client and Intercompany invoices to client portal/email and file documentation
- Issue and reconcile Client Pre-Billing at all times
- Support in updating revenue forecasts
- Support resolution of invoice related client queries upon request
- Support Client FInance Manager in running the monthly revenue recognition process (including ETCs preparation)
- Support the collections team in ensuring Accounts Receivable is up to date according to payment terms
- Review freelancer timesheets and update accordingly
- Raise POs as required; review PO reports on a regular basis; support AP queries from the business
- Support the finance team with other tasks and ad hoc analysis as required
- Previous experience in finance or accounting, ideally in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Team player - willing to help other team members when needed
- SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience within an advertising / branding agency background would be helpful
- Working towards a Finance qualification (AAT / CIMA / ACCA)
